Mohamed Salah closing in on Roma move
The Egypt star spent last season on loan at Fiorentina but rejected the opportunity to sign for them on a permanent deal.
Chelsea attacking midfielder Mohamed Salah has reportedly moved a step closer to completing his move to Roma.
He attracted interest from a host of European clubs following his successful loan spell in Italy last term, featuring 26 times in all competitions while managing to score nine goals.
And now Salah’s representatives, who have already confirmed that the Egyptian worldwide will be staying in the Italian league, via a separate covered by Football Italia, are thought to be set to meet with Roma to thrash out a deal for their client.
Salah has made just 19 competitive appearances since joining Chelsea from Basel in January 2013.
However, Sky is now reporting that a fee has been agreed, with Salah arriving on loan for €2m, with the Lupi obliged to buy the global for €20m next summer.
The future of Salah is currently up in the air after his spat with former club Fiorentina, with numerous Italian sides now considered in the running for the Chelsea man.
