Lifetime is bringing us unauthorized stories of ‘90210’ and ‘Melrose Place
Lifetime goes back to the ’90s in October with two telefilms about era-defining TV shows.
Beverly Hills, 90210 is just the latest to get Lifetime’s Unauthorized Story treatment – The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story aired in 2014 and The Unauthorized Full House Story heads to TV screens this August.
The young actors will portray the stars of the “Beverly Hills, 90210” in the upcoming television movie – which Lifetime says offers viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the drama that surrounded one of the ’90s most iconic shows. Take the latest cast reveal for 90210 – shouldn’t these people each be about 10 years older?
And for 90210’s sexy spin-off series Melrose Place, check out this line-up! Other cast members for that movie include Samantha Munro as Shannen Doherty/Brenda Walsh, Max Lloyd-Jones as Jason Priestley/Brandon Walsh, Abie Cobb as Jennie Garth/Kelly Taylor, Jesy McKinney as Luke Perry/Dylan McKay, Abby Ross as Tori Spelling/Donna Martin, David Lennon as Ian Ziering/Steve Sanders, Michele Goyns as Gabrielle Cartieris/Andrea Zuckerman and Ross Linton as Brian Austin Green/David Silver.
Joining the cast as Aaron Spelling is Dan Castellaneta, who voices Homer Simpson in “The Simpsons“, while Adam Korson will be channeling Darren Star. They’ll be joined by Ciara Hanna as Heather Locklear, Rebecca Dalton as Courtney Thorne-Smith, Frank Bailey as Andrew Shue, Ruan Bruce as Grant Show, Chloe McClay as Josie Bissett, Ali Corbin as Daphne Zuniga, Teagan Vincze as Marcia Cross, Joseph Coleman as Doug Savant, Brandon Barash as Thomas Calabro, Karissa Tynes as Vanessa A. Williams, Chelsea Hobbs as Laura Leighton and Lanie McAuley as Amy Locane.
