Transportation startup Uber has been having a rough couple of months.

This is the fourth year in a row that Uber has delivered ice cream to its users.

Despite these challenges, the company is keeping things cool.

People living or working in Fairfield, New Haven or Hartford counties are eligible for the #UberIceCream promotion that’s going on in 253 cities, 59 countries and six continents.

Want to be an office hero? Between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., if you set your location and request ICE CREAM on the app, you have a chance at hailing a truck carrying either Steel City’s signature frozen treats or good old fashioned ice cream.

Purchasers receive five items from popular Rice Village ice cream shop Cloud 10 Creamery. Rather than offering a range of flavours, Gelato Messina has just one ice cream choice available this time around: hazelnut gelato with white chocolate, hazelnut fudge, milk chocolate chips, and cream filed wafers.
