Speaking during an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit, Luckey responded to a question on the number of games that will launch for the Rift this year. Oculus is also offering a PC bundle which include some sort of gaming PC and Oculus Rift for U.S. $1,499 and that one will go on pre-order in February. Bundled with the headset are two virtual reality optimised titles: platformer Lucky’s Tale and dog-fighting shooter EVE: Valkyrie.
Oculus Rift is an expensive piece of hardware but comes with a premium package, as you can see from the photos below shared by attendants at CES 2016 in Las Vegas.
There are already dozens of games available to play on the Oculus Rift development kits, but it’s unclear how many of those games will work with the Oculus Rift CV1 (the first “consumer version”).
