RB Matt Jones 1 of 4 Redskins players listed as questionable

The Redskins have won four in a row, which lifted them to a NFC East title.

Washington is the 12th team in the last 13 years to win their division after finishing last the prior season. Redskin fans need no reminder about the 24-14 loss in 2012 to Seattle, their last time hosting a playoff game.

Beginning with the knee injury Jordy Nelson suffered in preseason that cost the Packers’ top wide receiver his entire year, through a successful period of relative health early on and then attrition along the offensive and defensive lines late in the slipping campaign, the team constantly has been battling a multitude of bumps and bruises – or, as they’re known in Green Bay, hamstring strains and ankle sprains. He was sacked 46 times, second-most in the NFL. “We have to prove to ourselves we can win the big games”, Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers said.

ALONG THE LINE: A young Redskins offensive line – RG Brandon Scherff, RT Morgan Moses and LG Spencer Long became starters this season – allowed only 27 sacks. The offense has been inconsistent mainly because the remaining receivers have had trouble getting open. Washington is the smart pick in the Sunday’s matchup. The whole offense looks dysfunctional, even with Head Coach Mike McCarthy calling plays.

Aaron Rodgers is going to have to step up his game, but the blame shouldn’t be put on Rodgers. “The things that we’ve done wrong are just as important as the things we’ve done right”. Rodgers has the ability to meticulously carve away chunks of yardage.

Washington has won four straight games.
