Anushka waiting to dig teeth into ‘Sultan’ role

Now that the cat is out of the bag and the mystery surrounding the leading lady of Salman Khan’s Sultan is solved, we’re curious to find out what this role entails. In an interview, Salman had said that it is a romantic film.

Anushka Sharma has been finalised as the female lead opposite superstar Salman Khan for the upcoming film Sultan, said a statement from Yash Raj Films on Friday. Additionally, she’s romanced Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh. As per the information this is an upcoming Indian drama movie and this movie is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Anushka Sharma is the main woman in Sultan and they too shared a photo together from the sets.

The curiosity around his leading lady has been killing his fans. She plays with a mature girl – a wrestler. But the biggest plus point is that she is athletic, she understands the language and the mannerisms and it will be easy for her to get into the skin of the character. She has to look on par with Salman. The actor has trained in mixed martial arts and wrestling for the film. “After the look is outside, you’ll see”. Last released movies of Salman Khan like Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Bajrangi Bhaijaan movie also it is assuming that this movie will also do a great work. “She doesn’t need to look like a million bucks”.

Anushka is most likely to join the shoot of the flick in next three weeks.

We further hear that the actress will start shooting for the film after three week post her extensive training sessions.
