‘Furious 7’, ‘Big Bang Theory’ win big at People Choice Awards

I honestly can not believe how many winners were cut short on their speeches at the People Choice Awards of all award shows. As Mic previously reported, expectations were flying high for the 42nd annual event, and viewers and some nominees were not disappointed.

“Into the Heart of the Sea” actor Chris Hemsworth won as Favorite Action Movie Actor while “Ghostbusters” actress Melissa McCarthy won as Favorite Comedic Movie Actress.

The action movie “Furious 7” was selected as favorite movie, while Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum won the favorite movie actress and favorite movie actor prizes, respectively. She outlined why she thought the TV Show host deserved the honour.

The People’s Choice Awards followed in the VMAs’ footsteps Wednesday night, encountering their very own Kanye West.

The awards show was hosted by Glee star Jane Lynch.

Two unknown men somehow made it onto the People’s Choice telecast.

Winning the People Choice Award for Favorite Break-Out Artist was Shawn Mendes, while the award for Favorite Album was handed to Meghan Trainor “Title“.

Ed Sheeran was also among the winners on the night scooping the Favourite Male Artist, while Taylor Swift picked up the same award in the female category and was named Favourite Pop Artist.
