‘Elder Scrolls 6’ Release Date Happening Next Year? Title Will Be ‘Redguard
Bethesda is reportedly hard at work on the much awaited next installment in the “Elder Scrolls” series, which is expected to be the biggest game ever from the developer.
Bethesda took center stage during the E3 2015 last month after making plenty of reveals in a number of its popular video game franchises including the post-apocalyptic role-playing game “Fallout 4”, “Dishonored 2”, “The Evil Within”, “Doom” and even the puzzle game “Battlecry”. However, some sort of official information about the upcoming video game recently came from Bethesda vice-president Peter Hines.
Cyrodiil and the Shivering Isles are, according to those folks, the best places in the Elder Scrolls universe.
While there have been previous reports that the official title of “The Elder Scrolls 6″ will be “Argonia”, recent initiatives of the game developer to register and trademark the name “Redguard” has added to the confusion among gamers.
Apparently, Bethesda has “trademarked the title “Redguard”, in the year 2011, the same year “Elder Scrolls: Skyrim” was released”.
Despite what Hines said at E3, many fans still believe that an announcement from Bethesda is imminent. Skyblivion is working to bring the world of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion into the engine of Skyrim, and the team of volunteers who are putting this together have done a pretty stellar job so far.
Meanwhile, MNR Daily reported that still there is some uncertainty regarding what the actual title of “Elder Scrolls 6” would be.
The rumors swirling online are now suggesting that Bethesda Softworks LLC is planning a 2016 release date for “Elder Scrolls 6”.
