Apple could be working on an iOS to Android migration assistant
The app, which was made available in the Google Play store and was slammed by Android users with one-star rating, helped Android users switch to the iPhone. The release of the new iOS 9.3 and watchOS 2.2 betas add the ability to link multiple of the company’s smartwatches to a single iPhone.
Apple will soon introduce an app created to make it easier for iPhone users to dump iOS and migrate to Android devices, according to a United Kingdom report citing a “senior industry source”.
The new feature, similar to the “Move from Android” tool that already exists, will allow users to quickly transfer data such as documents, photos and contacts over to their new Android device from iOS.
If you own a smartphone, it’s probably either an iPhone running Apple’s operating system iOS, or a device from the likes of Samsung, Sony, LG and HTC, running Google’s Android operating system. The commission in 2013 sent questionnaires to mobile operators looking for information on possible anti-competitive terms Apple imposes on contracts with carriers. It’s unclear when Apple will release the final version.
This could be seen as a very easy PR victory. not only offering Android to Apple, but also Apple to Android.

I don’t think their optimism will be realized, as the user experience remains one of the most compelling reasons its customers have to remain loyal to the platform.
