After a cold and sunny Monday, snow may appear Tuesday
We’ll continue to watch the latest trends though as we get a little closer. Monday will begin with temps in the mid-teens and mostly cloudy skies. Consequently, some roads may become slippery during the evening and overnight as the package of precipitation exits the coastline by 10-11 p.m. with clearing, colder and windy conditions to follow.
And while that hasn’t created a ton of problems for residents experiencing the first true cold snap of this record-setting 2015-2016 winter, a quick burst of snow spreading across the region tonight right on time for the evening rush hour might.
Wind chill values for your morning commute will be bitterly cold and below zero. Breezy. Low temperatures in the low and mid 30s.
Snow will overspread much of western and parts of northern New England during tomorrow afternoon with a risk of a few rain showers developing over southeastern Mass.as well. A period of brief heavy snow arrives around daybreak and should be hitting during the morning drive.
Forecasters are calling for a high of 36 on Thursday and 45 on Friday.
Although we’ll see plenty of sunshine temperatures only top out in the mid and upper 20s. High temperatures in the mid and upper 60s.
Tracking much colder air and a chance of snow flurries….After a soggy start to the day, expect our skies to gradually clear as we head through this Sunday. Earlier runs showed another deep trough over the East and would mean more cold Arctic air.
