Gionee Marathon M5 Lite launched in India; priced at Rs 12999
Gionee Marathon M5 Lite has been launched with a 5-inch display and a 4,000mAh battery in Golden Brown color with a price tag of Rs. 12,999 in the market.
Gionee Marathon M5 Lite with a smaller 4000 mAh battery and a 5-inch screen, which was launched China at Yuan 999, is now listed on the company’s India e-store as well. The variant launched in the country comes packed with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. As expected the USP of the all new Marathon series smartphone lies in the large 4000mAh battery which promises up to 32.7hours of talk time as well as 450 hours of standby.
The Marathon M5 Lite bears an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with CMOS sensor and LED-flash, and a 5-megapixel front camera.
The device is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop on top of Amigo 3.1 UI.
A 1.3GHz 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 fuels the Marathon M5 Lite and is supported in its efforts by a Mali-T720 GPU. The device includes an internal storage of 32GB which is further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. There is also a 5-megapixel front camera on board. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi and MicroUSB. The handset, designed using an aviation-grade aluminium alloy, is available for purchase from the official online store of the company. One will also find an ambient light sensor, gravity sensor and proximity sensor. It measures 143 x 69.9 x 8.5 mm and weighs 183 grams.
