Israeli soldiers shoot dead two Palestinian assailants -army

BEKAOT CHECKPOINT, West Bank Israeli troops shot dead two Palestinian men at a checkpoint in the occupied West Bank on Saturday, the Israeli military and Palestinians said, but details of the incident were disputed.
According to a report from the Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, Israeli forces fired rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas canisters at Palestinians who were rallying at Beit ‘Einun junction following the funeral procession.

“Clashes erupted between youths [and Israeli forces]”.
Asked what the secret police do with the information, he says: “They catch these guys and they kill them”.
“I have never seen someone demolishing like this, may God curse them”.
One hour later, another Palestinian was shot dead by Israeli army at Beat Anoun checkpoint eastern Hebron (Al-Khalil) southern West Bank.
More than 150 Palestinians have been killed in the recent escalation of violence since the start of October. Twenty-two Israelis have been killed in the same time period.
Officials say the Hamas terror cell was planning to use the Israeli hostage as a bargaining chip for freedom for Palestinian prisoners.
Israel often retains the bodies of Palestinians killed during alleged attacks, a measure that has drawn criticism from rights groups as well as Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas.
