Miami Dolphins hire Adam Gase as new head coach

The person provided the update on negotiations to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because no agreement has been reached with the Chicago Bears offensive coordinator. The interview is scheduled for Saturday. After a rough year, the Miami Dolphins are taking the necessary steps to better their hopes for next season.

Cleveland’s search committee, headed by the Haslams, is expected to interview Cincinnati defensive coordinator Hue Jackson and Carolina defensive coordinator Sean McDermott on Sunday. Cutler produced a career-high passer rating of 92.3 despite losing a number of his key weapons to injuries.
