National Football League player Devon Still says his daughter has beaten cancer
Leah Still will be discharged from the hospital on Tuesday, as her cancer treatment is now complete, her father and National Football League player Devon Still tweeted Monday.
More than a year and a half after being diagnosed with a deadly form of cancer, five-year-old Leah Still is finally being discharged with a clean bill of health.

In June of 2014, Leah was diagnosed with Stage-4 neuroblastoma, and doctors gave her only a 50-50 chance to live.
Though Leah was still too weak to attend the ceremony, Devon came and accepted the award for them both, thanking the owners of the Bengals for their support and giving his little girl a heartwarming message from the podium. Since March 2015, after a successful surgery to remove the tumor, she has been in remission. “No matter how hard it got or how painful the treatments were (and it was pretty bad a lot of the times) she never gave up!” he began his emotional caption. “I can honestly say that you all made a big difference”, he continued.

The Stills aren’t the only family to battle cancer this year. “Use it to raise awareness so that you can help all kids fighting this disease”, Still wrote on Sqor.
