UMSL’s online programs ranked best in state by US News

Colleges throughout the state have been included on a list ranking the 2016 Best Online Programs.

According to the methodology provided by U.S. News and World Report, “Master’s degree programs in business administration have a greater enrollment by far than any other type of graduate business degree program”.

“Our support staff, which includes instructional designers, video production specialists, and tech support, deliver invaluable resources to the school that make possible our Fox Video Vault and so much more”.

“A student’s success is our main focus and passion”, said Chance Franklin, programs specialist at Southeast Online.

The Fox Online MBA program first launched in Fall 2009.

At the iSchool, all masters degree programs can be completed either on-campus or online.

Of course, if you’re getting a degree online, the school’s location might not matter to you. WSU ranked 34th, although that was a drop from past year, when it was 20th. Applicants must meet UF’s general admission requirements, as well as those specified by the individual degree program. Last year, these three schools were all tied for the top position.

“The iSchool’s online programs attract working professionals who require the flexibility and access to faculty expertise that our online programs provide”, noted Williams.

Four online nursing programs in the state appeared: Ball State tied for 23rd, IUPUI in a tie for the 42nd spot, U. Indy was tied for 82nd and Indiana State University finished in a tie for 98th.

Kenan-Flagler, whose program costs $99,675, scored particularly high for student engagement – 97 out of 100 – which has been a concern for online learning programs.

“I continue to be impressed by the work of our faculty and am very excited to see their efforts recognized by a national ranking in the U.S. News and World Report”, said Dr. Ron Berry, dean of the College of Business and Social Sciences. Only degree-granting programs at regionally accredited schools were considered. Today S&T offers online graduate degree programs in 17 disciplines.
