Amy Schumer’s relaxed Golden Globes preparation

Amy also Instagrammed her Golden Globe experience all Sunday.

Schumer, who went public with her relationship last week, discussed the hype with Entertainment Tonight, joking, “Apparently having a boyfriend is the biggest accomplishment of the year for me”.

She explained: “I saw a classic Fifties style”.

Her makeup artist, Andrea Tiller, tells PeopleStyle the inspiration for Schumer’s makeup moment comes from the ’50s vibe of her dress.

Schumer spoke to the press on the red carpet about her relationship with Hanisch, who is a furniture designer, saying they were “in love and it’s really exciting”. The couple didn’t walk the red carpet together, but the actress did share a photo with her beau prior to the event. It looks like the 34-year-old has found quite the catch – which she absolutely deserves! I really expected Amy to win, so this was very truly surprising for me.

“I’ve never been dating anyone that the public’s really known about”, she continued. Chuck Schumer, her show, Inside Amy Schumer, won two Emmys, she had a one hour HBO stand up special, and she wrote a movie with BFF, Jennifer Lawrence.

“It’s strictly girl time – just the three of us”, Tiller says of her, Schumer and Gueldner.

“I learned that, you know, like my [Trainwreck] character did, I wasn’t in a good enough place mentally to actually be with anyone else [before]”.
