Kiku has been sent to 14 days judicial custody.

The complainants had told the police that the actor mimicked the religious sect leader on a show and thus their religious sentiments were hurt. “If anyone’s feelings were hurt, I am really, really sorry”, Sharda said in a police station in Kaithal after his arrest.

Sharda was charged with hurting the religious sentiments of Singh’s followers in an episode that aired in late December.
Though the actor apologised, they still filed a complaint against him.

I feel the TV channel should be held responsible for this as they should have checked the guidelines before airing it. I don’t understand why am I being dragged in this.
