The Twin Ports MLK Arts & Culture Festival will include a variety of events from Thursday through Monday. He joined WFMY News 2’s Tracey McCain on the Good Morning Show to talk about both events and how the community can get involved.
The event, which is organized by district staff and a committee of community members, is a chance for residents to see that Loveland is “committed to Dr. King’s vision of a beloved community”, according to Mim Neal, chair of the event. He says there are many ways we can be proactive instead of reactive.
You can carry out Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s dream through community service and that’s not all.

Martin said this year’s theme is “Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.: A Gateway for Service to Others”.
