Michelle Obama’s State of the Union Look May Be Her Best Yet
It was President Barack Obama’s final State of Union last night, and lots of big, important topics were discussed: Islamophobia, gun control, the economy.
At first sight of the First Lady’s bright frock, Twitter freaked out and recalled The Dress argument of February 2015.
Obama has worn Narcisco Rodriguez a handful of other times, most notably the red dress she wore on election night 2008.
The dress, which was originally priced at $2,095, had already been marked down to $628.
All eyes were on the 51-year-old First Lady at Capitol Hill as she confidently walked into her box in the House of Representatives gallery, greeted by various dignitaries and officials.
Michelle Obama brought home the gold – the marigold – at Tuesday’s State of the Union address, her last as the First Lady of the United States.
“It’s what gets you out of bed each morning – she added – it’s what you write about in essays in school and what you read about in the news. I know this because with creative people, that’s what their passion does – it makes everything else worthwhile”.
