Social media users pay tribute to David Bowie with lightning bolt ‘twibbon’

Sadly, David Bowie passed away on Sunday (10 January) evening at the age of 69 after an 18-month battle with cancer. Listening to his early songs I felt he was speaking directly to me when he sang, ‘We’re painting our faces and dressing thoughts from the skies, from paradise’.
