Oppo F1 selfie-focused phone now available for pre-order
The first model to grace the lineup, the Oppo F1, is now up for pre-order in Vietnam, where the device will be available from the 21st of this month. It runs the Android 5.1 platform with Oppo’s ColorOS 2.1 UI on top. The display comes in at 5-inches with a 720p HD resolution and 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
Today, the Chinese company officially introduced the Oppo F1, the first smartphone in the F-series lineup. You can already pre-order it in Vietnam and it will cost you around $290. The Oppo F1 is the latest smartphone vying for attention, and it’s geared for those that love taking photos. It will start shipping from January 21st. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 Processor with 3GB of RAM. “There is also an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with wider f/2.0 aperture (1/4” sensor) on board. It comes with 16 GB on-board storage which can be expanded up to 128GB using MicroSD card. This model boasts of a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, an aperture of f/2.2 and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF).
The device supports dual-SIM (Micro-SIM + Nano-SIM) functionality. OPPO has also packed in a selection of software features and filters to tweak your pictures to your liking, as part of its Beautify 3.0 package.
Oppo Vice President and Managing Director of International Mobile Business Sky Li, had stated that the F series will focus on the excellent camera performance and unique designs.
