‘Fifty Shades of Grey,’ ‘Pixels’ among Razzies nominees
Jamie Dornan has been nominated for Worst Actor at this year’s Golden Raspberry Awards, also known as the Razzies.
Not doing much for the Holywood native’s confidence in the franchise, Fifty Shades of Grey itself was nominated for Worst Picture.
Winners of the Razzies are voted for online by around 900 members of the Razzies committee, and anyone can sign up to vote, with memberships starting at $US40 ($57.46).
Past recipients Halle Berry and Sandra Bullock have attended in person to claim their plastic statue with humour and grace at the spoof awards.
The Razzie “winners” will be announced on Saturday, February 27, i.e. the evening before the Academy Awards.

Jamie is up for Worst Actor in Fifty Shades of Grey along with co-stars Dakota Johnson who is nominated as Worst Actress.
Other Oscar-winning Razzie nominees include Gwyneth Paltrow for Mortdecai and Julianne Moore for Seventh Son.
While Eddie Redmayne might be looking at a best actor Academy Award this year for The Danish Girl, he’s up for the worst supporting actor Razzie for Jupiter Ascending.

In total the Sam Taylor-Johnson directed film received six nominations at the awards which celebrate the worst in cinema.
He will compete for the title with Will Smith, nominated for his redeeming role in Concussion, actor-director Elizabeth Banks for directing the hit Pitch Perfect 2 and horror filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan for directing hit horror The Visit after a slew of flops.
