Renderings of first Houston Shake Shake released

The downtown location will replace the 801 Hill nightclub at the corner of Hill Street and 8th Street. As part of a presentation to investors at the 18th annual ICR Conference in Orlando, Shake Shack displayed updated renderings of a number of upcoming locations including the two Texas cities. Shake Shack is expected to open in 2017.

The dish on Long Island’s restaurant and food scene. The chicken sandwich is first of its kind in the restaurant’s menu, and will be available from January 14; it is aimed at customers throughout North America.

For the finishing touches, the sandwich is topped with pickles, shredded lettuce and a tangy Shack-made buttermilk herb mayo, and is served on a “pillowy” potato roll.

“The Chick’n Shack embodies our modern approach to fine casual American cooking”, said Shake Shack Culinary Director Mark Rosati in a press release.

And because nothing goes better with chicken than hot sauce, Shake Shack is also rolling out a new Louisiana hot sauce with the Chick’n Shack. “It wasn’t until we found the chicken sandwich to be as flavorful as our Shack burger that we knew we’d crafted something special that had earned its place on the menu”. Shake Shack touts its chicken as being ” 100% all-natural and antibiotic-free chicken”. And it will cost $6.29.
