‘Person of Interest’ may end after season 5, according to JJ Abrams

But he does add that the final Season 5 episode “could function as both a season and a series finale”. “But I know they will see the light of day…people will get to see these episodes”, the executive producer stated. Television Studio. But while it was picked up for a fifth season, it wasn’t included in CBS’ new March schedule, leaving fans to wonder about its fate. The series, from Jonah Nolan and J.J. Abrams, was left off the CBS fall schedule, it was given a partial order and has not been scheduled yet.
The sci-fi crime drama is produced outside of the Warner Bros. I know the power of that story. “That’s sort of the goal”, he noted. But, obviously, things can be adjusted if [there’s] a miraculous [ratings] performance. “But I do love that show and I would’ve loved to see that continue”, Abrams revealed. He continued that he is grateful that the show lasted as long as it has and he would loved to see it continue. “But I think the idea is that, essentially, this would be the finale”.
“So it seems officially the ball is still in CBS’s court and until then, the series” future will continue to be in limbo.
