Three new characters to join roster of “Pokken Tournament”
New fighters have been confirmed for Wii U Pokemon brawler Pokken Tournament thanks to leaked images from early scans of CoroCoro magazine. Just like the “Tekken” franchise on which the game is inspired from, “Pokken Tournament” will sport an impressive roster, and it expanded recently with the addition of several series favourites. Due to release in about a week, it also featured a separate article revealing all of the new Pokemon for Pokken Tournament.
The three new fighters in “Pokken Tournament” are Braixen, Garchomp and the widely popular MewTwo.
As well as confirming their appearance in the game, the translated scans also reveal details about the fighters’ styles. Garchomp, according to the magazine, is supposed to have a Mega Evolution; perhaps it would be able to compete with the likes of Mewtwo. Garchomp is expectedly a power-house type with insane damage via various physical moves including Dragon Rush and Sand Tomb. The three new characters will join Charizard, Dark MewTwo, Suicine, Pikachu Libre, Pikachu, Weaville, Lucario, Gardevoir, Blaziken, Gengar, Sceptile and Machamp. In fact, it would be pretty cool to play an arcade fighting Pokemon game on a next-gen console.
Pokkén Tournament continues to march toward its approaching spring 2016 release, and Nintendo is doing its best to build up hype for the game until then.
