2 $1 million Powerball winning tickets sold in Illinois
A WAWA in Burlington County, N.J., sold a winning ticket with the additional $1 Power Play – doubling the value from $1 million to $2 million.
Three Kentucky Lottery players matched all five white ball winning numbers, but not the Powerball, lottery officials said. One was sold in Tennessee, another in California and the third in Florida.
A $100,000 winning ticket and another worth $50,000 were sold at Delta Discount.
Although only three people won the jackpot for the largest Powerball ever, eleven other people won, between one and two million dollars in Florida.
The winning numbers last night were 8-27-34-4-19 with a Powerball of 10.
The trio – who have yet to be identified – individually won the second-place prize of $1 million, in which they had to match five numbers, not including the Powerball number, according to NBC.
Arizona also had two $1 million winners in Saturday’s drawing.
A majority of the country went a little Powerball insane over the past week as the jackpot hit dizzying figures.
They have 180 days to claim their prizes, lottery officials said.
Powerball tickets are sold in 44 states, as well as the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
