Jackson teen has Starr power on ‘American Idol’
Wednesday night, the auditions continued to air and the daughter of a pretty successful artist from the mid-’80s stood before the judging panel made up of Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick, Jr.in hopes of making to the Hollywood round.
Starr, who accompanied her daughter to the Philadelphia tryouts, was then invited into the audition room, where she was reunited with Lopez and given the opportunity to tell the judges what she thought of her daughter.
American Idol’s final season’s auditions are still airing on FOX, showcasing some serious talent!
Starr came to fame in the 1980s with such hits as “Pickin’ Up Pieces”, “I Still Believe” and “Sweet Surrender”. “I knew [Lopez] was going to make it”.
