Lady Gaga Announces New Album Post-Golden Globes Win
DiCaprio’s recent award for “The Revenant” marks his third best actor gold in the Golden Globes, his other two awards being in “The Aviator” and “The Wolf of Wall Street”.
During the 73rd annual Golden Globes on Sunday, Jan. 10, Lady Gaga won her first Golden Globe award for her role as the Countess in FX’s drama series American Horror Story: Hotel.
She also noted that it’s been a good year for women in film.
Some people on Twitter interpreted the moment as shade, but that wasn’t the case. “I have to thank Denis O’Hare and Angela Bassett and Cheyenne Jackson, Finn Wittrock, Chloe Sevigny, Evan Peters”, she listed before laying down this epic humblebrag. Upon hearing her name announced, she immediately burst into tears. You’re just a wonderful human being.
However, the 29-year-old seemed to be so overawed by the whole thing that she forget to thank her fiance, Taylor Kinney.
“I wanted to be an actress before I wanted to be a singer”, the star said. But music worked first I guess’.
Ricky told the audience, with a glass of lager in his hand: “I’m going to be nice tonight I’ve changed, not as much as Bruce Jenner though”.
The moment captured by cameras left everyone guessing about his peculiar expression and whether the nudge by Gaga was intentional.
