Tina Fey, Ronda Rousey to star in ‘Do Nothing Bitches’
Universal Pictures has acquired the Paula Pell pitch “Do Nothing Bitches” with Tina Fey and Ronda Rousey attached to star. Rousey has been cast in the remake of Roadhouse and according to White, filming has been pushed back.
Remember, Rousey’s appearance with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at WrestleMania 31 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. last March was a huge success, as they teamed up to clear the ring of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a rather electric moment. Yeah. I think that’s fair.
Rousey eventually filed a trademark for the phrase so chances are she’s going to get paid for the use of the term in the movie as well.
Will it happen, though? “The filming is in a time frame where she’d finish before [UFC] 200, but it would be cutting it too close”.
As if the champion vs champion main event bout between Conor McGregor and Rafael dos Anjos was not enough, Holm will defend her title against Tate in her first defence since brutally knocking out Rousey at UFC 193.
News that Ronda Rousey isn’t ready to fight anytime soon is causing a stir among her legion of UFC fans who have been anticipating her comeback. With Rousey caught up in the Hollywood beat, it will be interesting to see if such would prevent her from strutting her stuff once again inside the Octagon. “Definitely not her. “Just because my body was developed for a goal other than f***ing millionaires doesn’t mean it’s masculine”, she said in a UFC interview”.
The only concern among top UFC execs is that if Tate beats Holm, the Rousey-Holm encounter runs the risk of being “worth far less”.
Justino did say, however, she remains open to a catchweight “superfight” at 140 pounds, between bantamweight and her current division’s 145-pound limit. At one point, her doctors even said such a cut could threaten her life and ability to have children. “I call it a “do-nothing bitch” or I call it a “DNB” a lot of the time”.
