‘Saved By The Bell’ Star Begins Jail Sentence
On Friday, Dustin Diamond was taken into custody – as scheduled – at Wisconsin’s Ozaukee County jail, where he will spend the next four months behind bars.
The actor, best known for playing Screech on “Saved by the Bell”, allegedly stabbed a 25-year-old man in a Port Washington bar on Christmas Day, according to a police report.

Dustin Diamond has gone to prison after he was convicted of carrying a concealed weapon and of disorderly conduct.
The actor was cleared of a felony charge in May 2015 after a three-day trial, but the jury found him guilty of carrying a concealed weapon. He recently played Peter Bash in United States comedy “Franklin & Bash”.
Diamond had been due to start his time in jail last summer, but a judge put the sentence on hold for an appeal.
Dustin, who was also a housmate on the UK’s Celebrity Big Brother back in 2013, has just begun his sentence involving a stabbing.
Diamond initially appealed his conviction, but withdrew it last month.
He lasted 16 days inside the house with Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby declared the eventual victor.
