Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials Trailer

The sequel follows Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and his friends as they search for clues about the mysterious WCKD organization that was pulling the strings in the first film.

Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Giancarlo Esposito, Aidan Gillen, Barry Pepper, Lili Taylor, and Patricia Clarkson star in the highly anticipated film from 20th Century Fox.

We love the Maze Runner series and can’t wait for the sequel to come out in September!

The new trailer is action-packed and intense, hinting at a much darker and scarier expansion of the post-apocalyptic world only touched upon in The Maze Runner. The survivors find themselves facing several obstacles, running into duplicitous safe havens run by paramilitary groups, and fighting for their lives in the wasteland.

The screenplay is from T.S. Nowlin, based upon the novel “The Scorch Trials” by James Dashner.

“We carry them into a whole new set of circumstances they have to survive. It’s exciting”.

The director also shared the types of scenes, the film’s concepts, and the production. “And it’s just flashlights, it’s just really scary”, he shared in an interview with MTV. And the story is set to pick up from where the first The Maze Runner movie left us. The characters also increased in number.
