Stephen Amell wants father/son relationship for Oliver Queen in Arrow
Oliver has been through his first chapter and the rest of Team Arrow is starting a new chapter as well. However, with a new archer hitting the streets wearing a similar costume to his predecessor, it wont take long for people to put everything together and deduce that Oliver is Green Arrow.
“Arrow” showrunner Marc Guggenheim might have just shut down the possibility of Connor Hawk (Oliver Queen’s son in “Green Arrow” comic book), appearing in the show.
When R’as mentioned a “Hive of Operatives” Oliver didn’t realize that he meant an actual HIVE.
When season 3 ended, Oliver and Felicity retired from their life of crime-fighting and started a fresh one.
Guggenheim didn’t discuss the matter any further, but this bit of information only reignites earlier speculation that Oliver will finally meet his son in season four. That’s Diggle knowledge, not Oliver knowledge. “But, Damien brings elements to Starling City that, again, I think will help fuel our flashback story this year with Oliver”.
With a big cast, an established threat of death, and some pretty major villains on the way in Season 4, it stands to reason that we’ll be bidding farewell to at least one character of importance. “He’s running, like always”.
Oliver has a new skill set this season and it’s related to domestic living. That’s emotionally and will be seen through a physical change. “I don’t know. His reaction is going to depend entirely upon the state that she is in”.
In Season 3, they teased a lot about what the Lazarus Pit does to someone and that will be explored this season.
This gives it a chance to upset the balance and order of things, to drive new plots, have characters develop, and to introduce new members to the team who can take things in a different direction. We’ll find out for sure as Season 4 unfolds, beginning on Wednesday, October 8 on The CW.
