Kendall Jenner for Mango
As one of the most sought after models, Kendall Jenner has walked the catwalk in Givenchy’s New York Fashion Week show, landed a spot in a Marc Jacobs campaign, and even earned her wings walking in a Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
Fast fashion retailer Mango apparently couldn’t find any women of color and/or African natives to model for their new “Tribal Spirit” campaign, so they enlisted Jenner instead, according to a report from Women’s Wear Daily.
The American supermodel was hospitalised for exhaustion a year ago, but she seems to be fully recovered and back in business, showcasing Mango’s new line Tribal Spirit, which is one of four trends represented by the high-street store.

Mango believes the Keeping Up With the Kardashians beauty is the best person “to model a collection of uncontained beauty and cultural fusion, typical of the wildest savannah” and the statement pieces from the collection come with “an abundance of accessories to produce outfits of a tribal and free-spirited influence”. In the first sneak peek (below), Jenner dons a sleek black leather minidress with plenty of fringe. And obviously the upside with that is that, as a model, she’s very professional, she works fantastically. “It was a great shoot and working with the entire Mango team was an fantastic experience!” In April 2014, Marie Claire found itself in the middle of controversy when the magazine tweeted a photo of Kendall Jenner wearing parted cornrows and calling her hairstyle “bold” and “epic”.
