Samsung may introduce Live Photos-like feature in Galaxy S7 handset
The handset will reportedly introduce Samsung’s version of the Live Photos feature, which basically captures 1.5 seconds of video before and after a photo is clicked by iPhone 6S users.
Samsung will launch the dual SIM variant of its Galaxy Note5 flagship smartphone in India tomorrow.
A Samsung software engineer tipped that the feature will be named either Timeless Photos or Vivid Photos, reports Android Geeks. If Samsung is to produce it, then what will be the fate of the next Galaxy Note?
I don’t believe we’ll see such a development that allows non-Galaxy smartphones to enjoy a Note-like experience by the grace of Samsung, but this could mean something more.
Samsung recently had a number of new smartphone launches-with some of them launching with grand events. The end result is – the captured photo looks livelier than any other technique. The omission of sound will help users to directly share the images as Gifs on social media websites. This year, the Mobile World Congress will take place on February 22-25, 2016 in Barcelona.
The Galaxy S7 is said to include a 3000mAh battery under the hood, while the Galaxy S7 Edge will feature a 3600mAh battery. It would also include an iris scanner.
Further leaks about Galaxy S7 indicate that the smartphone by Smasung is set to sport a screen of 5.2-inched Super Amoled display consisting of QHD (1440 x 2560 pixel) resolution.
Reports have it that the latest flagship smartphones of Samsung shall also come in two different processor options including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and Samsung’s own Exynos 8890 SoC. It sports a 4.5-inch display with an 800 x 400 pixels WVGA resolution. The phone supports up to 200 GB microSD card.
As for the camera, it sports a 5-megapixel main rear camera and comes coupled with a 2-megapixel front facing snapper for selfies and similar functions.
