Kingdom Day Parade to be held in South Los Angeles

The Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday is being marked in New Orleans with speeches outside City Hall and the annual march to the Dr. King memorial on South Claiborne Avenue. If you don’t have the time for that there are thousands of websites dedicated to Dr. King and his life. At the core of his beliefs was an unwavering dedication to helping everyone, because all people are created equal and worthy of a helping hand when needed.

The event will serve as the county’s MLK Service Day Project.
