Supermodel Stephanie Seymour arrested for DUI
In addition to the DUI charge, Seymour was ticketed for unsafe backing.
TMZ reports that she appeared unsteady on her feet and smelled of alcohol but refused to take a field sobriety test.
Seymour, 47, was arrested after she allegedly backed her Range Rover into a Mercedes sedan at a stop sign just off of Interstate 95 in Greenwich, according to an accident report.
Police said Monday that Seymour was arrested following a two-vehicle crash on the southbound I-95 exit 5 ramp in the Riverside neighborhood of Greenwich at 9:25 p.m. January 15. He accused her of submitting “invalid” urine samples in an attempt to prove she was not on drugs or alcohol.
The divorce proceedings turned ugly, with Brant claiming Seymour was an unfit mother for the couple’s three children.
Seymour was released on a $500 non-surety bond.
In 2010, Peter Brant’s wife was ordered to undergo regular drug testing, and was forced into court after she missed a scheduled drug test while enjoying a sun-soaked vacation in St. Barts with 2 of her kids.
