Flight Attendant Last Seen at Airport Mysteriously Vanishes

A flight attendant studying to become a minister disappeared Thursday after quitting her job at LaGuardia Airport.

Sierra Shields, 30, was last seen Thursday (January 14) at noon at LaGuardia Airport, where she worked. “She is the kindest soul, and right now she is missing”. Please share and pray for her and her family!’ “Please help find her. Please”. Her phone and wallet were reportedly found at her apartment.

Larry Mayberry, Shield’s pastor at Connection Church in Astoria, said she was seen in her company break room on Thursday, where her work supervisor asked her if everything was alright.

“By the distress and everything that took place on Thursday, she was suffering through something”, said her father, Chris Shields. She was last seen wearing a navy blue dress.

Family members have told other media outlets that she may have been depressed. Additionally, she does not have a boyfriend, and her family does not think that she has any enemies who would seek to do her harm. It’s not clear if she returned there after leaving the airport.

As of this date, police still have no solid leads on her whereabouts or the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

The family has started a Facebook page to help find her and has filed a report with police.
