Kejriwal Inked at Odd-Even Event, AAP Blames BJP, Delhi Police

Later, a livid deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia held a press briefing where he blasted Delhi Police and accused BJP for scripting the entire incident. “I can see a method or a pattern here”.

The incident took place around 5 pm when the Delhi Chief Minister was praising government officials including Metro railways for making the road rationing scheme a major success in the national capital.

“The allegations of conspiracy against the Delhi Police are baseless”, he added.

Kejriwal, who was speaking at the Chhatrasal Stadium, in north Delhi, remained unruffled. She was eventually reigned in but Sisodia claimed that the Delhi Police didn’t show any urgency.

Earlier also AAPS has opposed Arvind Kejriwal on several occasions. “It is not acceptable in civilized society”, he said. “Officers under them being pressurized to get something wrong signed from them”, Kejriwal tweeted on Friday.

The Delhi government today said that it has made a decision to waive user charges at all government hospitals from February 1 and would make available medicines and diagnostic tests free of cost, using the money “saved” from three flyover projects. “Such conduct is unknown to Indian democratic tradition”.

The plea said Kejriwal and Azad levelled allegations against the DDCA regarding financial irregularities and corruption in selections at the junior level to malign the DDCA’s image.

The alleged CNG scam had happened under the previous Congress dispensation and the Kejriwal government had recently set up a Commission of Inquiry to probe it.

This particular incident raises questions about the kind of security lapses that occur during the AAP leader’s rallies.
