Threats made against at least 9 school districts
Police are reporting bomb threats at several schools in New Jersey.
GDOE Acting Deputy Superintendent Chris Anderson says, “Unfortunately the administration from SSHS received a report from students that again, there was another writing scheduling a bomb threat for Thursday”.
Fair Lawn High School and Leonia High School have also been evacuated.

“Once you get into high school we tend to, and I want to, see more independence and see more responsible behavior by our high school students”, he said.
It was not immediatley clear how all the threats were received.
SWAMPSCOTT- Swampscott Police confirmed they are investigating an unspecified threat at Swampscott High School.
“At this time, there is no indication of any validity to the threat”, Bracken said. Clifton High School, in Passaic County, also received a bomb threat via voicemail.
‘However, all precautions are being taken in order to ensure safety of the entire school district.
The schools affected are located in Bergen County in the northeastern part of the state, across the Hudson River from Manhattan.
“We have to make split second decisions based on the threat, not knowing it is going on throughout the commonwealth”, Ryan said.
Even after-school activities are affected, as the first home basketball game of the season was moved to JFK High School in Upper Tumon.
Groton Middle School received a bomb threat around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Searches were still underway at five other schools, he said.
