On Sunday night, The May Fair Hotel London, hosted the 36th Annual London Critics’ Film Awards. While it missed out on the top prize, it did win Best Director for George Miller and Best Action Movie. Further prizes for “Mad Max” were given for the following categories: Production Design, Editing, Costume Design, Hair & Makeup and Visual Effects. Thanks to the wider breadth of categories, Mad Max: Fury Road won nine awards from critics, including Best Director, Best Action Movie and Best Actor and Actress in an Action Movie for Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy, respectively.
