No Jeopardy! Contestant Could Answer This Final Question
It was a three-way tie for $0 when the contestants answered Springfield, Austin and Atlanta, respectively. It’s referencing the desegregation of Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas (where this famous photo was taken), and also Bill Clinton (not the president at the time), and also the city itself.
All three contestants on Monday’s episode of ‘Jeopardy!’ were stumped by the show’s final clue, with each player leaving without a penny and leaving the show without a victor. We will introduce three new players.
Returning co-champions Claudia Corriere and Mike Drummond were tied at $13,800 going into the round, while new player Randi Kristensen had $6,000 when she penned her answer. Alex Trebek awarded them no points, and may God have mercy on their souls.

Liz Fritz, a former Jeopardy champion, tweeted rules to a “Jeopardy!” drinking game that tragically predicted the downfall just an hour before the episode aired. “So, sorry folks!” Trebek said.
A clean sweep elimination on Final Jeopardy hasn’t happened since a February 7 teen tournament episode in 2013.
When the topic was revealed to be “State Capitals”, all three contestants felt confident enough to each bet all their money.
