Lace Morris Is the Girl Who Quits ‘The Bachelor’ Tonight?
Lace Morris has opened up about her “crazy” behavior on The Bachelor and what she regrets most.
See you next week for Olivia’s meltdown in Vegas! Praying this is not the case.
In tonight’s “The Bachelor” season 20 episode, Ben will first spend a romantic afternoon with Lauren B. They will bond over a breath-taking ride on a bi-plane, which will take them to a special spot, in which a bathtub awaits them. Oh, and a team of cameramen recording their every lip-lock. Everything about it is ideal. Her parents, Kristin and Dave Bushnell, are from Lake Oswego and continue to live in West Linn, where they raised Lauren and her younger siblings Mollie, Bryant and Brett. It’s evident that Ben is smitten by her natural charm and there’s an effortless connection between the two.
But kudos to Lauren B. for admitting how awkward she made Ben’s #honestyhour confession about his dad’s heart condition.
“I’m scared of getting hurt”, Lauren B. tells the cameras, “and I tend to protect myself, but I do genuinely trust Ben at this point and it feels really good”. I have not been this excited for a date …
Time for some good ol’ fashioned Bachelor ball play!
The episode will also bring some drama when Olivia and Ben get some alone time.
The social media sensation confirmed she quit The Bachelor for two reasons – and one of them happened to be the lack of spark with Ben.
The Stripes head to a hotel with Ben, and they all turn on Olivia’s toes.
They do a food tasting and she spits out caviar.
Obviously, Olivia found out about the #ToeShade, but took it like a champ.
Haley: “I think her boobs are fake…” “Do I have bad toes?”. I don’t know what’s going on. Giving up the date she’d cried about possibly not getting was an ice breaker joke.
“Jubilee’s willing to talk about the stuff in life most people aren’t willing to talk about”, Ben said later. First she stepped out of the limo in a unicorn mask, and then she got the first group date rose of the season! Chris gave her an official invitation, but Lace said she’s not sure if she wants to do it – that she’d definitely have to think about it.
When everything settles down, Lace wants to talk to Ben. “I want someone who’s real”.
With the tension at an all-time high, the 30-year-old “Bachelor in Paradise” alum attempts to confront Jubilee to no avail, especially with Ben on her side.
Jubilee gave him a massage, and that didn’t go over well with her fellow contestants, since she already had a rose. Jami Letain and Shushanna Mkrtychyan were both left roseless and were sent home. Lace seizes the opportunity to consolidate her power among the rest of the house, particularly by making fun of Olivia’s toes, a move that Jami the snitch immediately relays to Olivia. “Here’s Lace. She’s blunt”. Ben also wears a metal and leather “HOPE” bracelet. “I deal with a lot of guilt”.
When that first date takes place on national television with America’s favorite bachelor, you’re opening yourself up to even more judgment than you would on a blind date over coffee. So many of them are named Lauren, so many of them have the exact same hairstyle, some of them even sound alike.
This made me feel grateful I never signed myself up for the show during a moment of weakness on a commercial break, even with Ben as the prize.
“It was like offensive to listen to because you don’t know how many girls want to be on this date: Do you know how many girls didn’t get a date this week?” bartender Jami stews following her soccer date with the “Bachelor” himself.
Lace’s tattoo is so wise, right? So much so that she has to take Ben aside, moments after he just told everyone the news of his friends from back home dying in a plane crash, and tell him about her leg insecurities. Neither of them seemed to make much of an impact on Ben, but hey, I’ve used “awko taco” three times in this recap now. If I had to pick a victor of The Bachelor today, it would be Becca.
