Bill de Blasio’s ‘blood is boiling’ after Cruz ‘New York values’ remarks
As an angle of attack, Ted Cruz accusing Donald Trump of harboring “New York values’ may or may not bear fruit in the end”. Like expected, this means that both of them take every chance they have to attack each other.
Unlike Iowa, where Cruz is neck-and-neck with Donald Trump, New Hampshire is a state where Trump dominates, leading the rest of the pack by almost 20 points in recent polls.
Did Mr. Trump change that much?
The two Republicans are also battling it out in New Hampshire and SC, states that hold primaries in the weeks following the Iowa caucuses.
“What Ted Cruz said was outrageous, it was disgusting, it was hypocritical”, King said Friday on CNN.
“I’m gonna say, and I know people are gonna scratch there heads and go, ‘what?’ but I don’t you can”, Steele said to radio host Rich Zeoli on 1210 WPHT when asked if someone could stop Donald Trump.
It has allowed the Cruz campaign to resurface Trump’s old liberal positions in a way that doesn’t seem stale and like something the media has covered before. Even more, he kept talking about this topic on Saturday morning, through a series of tweets, claiming that additional lawsuits will investigate this issue. Like I said, my friendly advice.
Cruz is “the only one who’ll do what he says he’s going to do”, said Teri Sullivan, 61, a businesswoman from Aiken, while Trump will likely act like President Obama and start issuing executive orders. “Then he got caught the other day in a tape when he was raising funds at a law office talking about things that are priorities and not priorities”, Trump said.
“In most prior elections, Iowa and New Hampshire split”.
With Cruz nipping at his heels, Trump ventured into more traditional political territory on Friday.
At Thursday’s Republican debate in Charleston, Trump cited New York’s response to the 9/11 attacks to counter Cruz saying that Trump “embodies NY values”.
Trump also asked: “If Ted Cruz is so opposed to gay marriage, why did he accept money from people who espouse gay marriage?”
Either cut the crap – your accusations this morning that Cruz is Canadian, a criminal, owned by big banks, etc. (see link below) – or you will lose lots and lots of conservatives. Put down your computer keyboard for a few hours, think before you tweet, and collect yourself.
