Hundreds pay tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. in Madison

“Fifty to 100 years, I’d say Martin Luther King’s dream, becomes reality”, predicts Harper. Boyd noted that Arizona was the only state in the union to actually vote on whether Dr. King’s birthday should be a holiday.

They enjoyed singing, dancing, speakers, and the annual walk over the Martin Luther King Junior Bridge.
Volunteer Christopher Coleman said the event was an example of “bringing people of different backgrounds together to achieve a common goal”.
