The fast food chain has unveiled its latest menu creation – French fries drizzled in chocolate sauce. This technically makes the side dish a desert, which is great.
This isn’t the first time McDonald’s Japan has put a new spin on French fries.
Starting on January 26, McDonald’s is going to create and sell chocolate-covered dessert fries in Japan. They’re called “McChocolate Potatoes.” A poorly Google-translated page explains: “The salty of the potato, the taste of surprise sweetness of the chocolate source is applied, Please enjoy”. McDonald’s hasn’t clarified its release plans. Not too long ago, Burger King introduced an all-black hamburger made dark using squid ink, and there was also a red burger at one point.
