Rocket League’s next update adding better loot
Rewards and item drops were all very similar throughout the courses, and they weren’t differentiated very much. Developer Psyonix has just announced the next update for “Rocket League”, which will be available in February.
Rocket league ranked season is ending.
With February’s patch, the first season of competitive Rocket League will come to a close. Those who reached bronze or higher can expect some rewards for their hard work… AFter earning an Uncommon items, the time then resets and you start all over again in your quest to get another one. Limited Edition Crowns with Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum variants, that’s what!
One interesting thing to note is that the new “Uncommon Item’s” drop-rate won’t have a fixed percentage like the seasonal items do. Common are the usual stock items you earn’t from playing matches, Premium are the paid DLC items and Orange are those acquired from limited time holiday events like Christmas.
This is a new item quality which showcases Toppers and Antennas. These rewards will be handed out in February as the first season concludes and the participants are ranked according to their performance. The “uncommon” item class will be more available as a gamer plays “Rocket League” longer.
Rocket League has recently been one the best time-killers in the gaming scene and it is getting overwhelming support from its developers. It’s not easy for brand new games to establish a steady playerbase without building off some other established brand or trope, but Psyonix managed to do so right out of the gate with Rocket League.
Rocket League was a surprise hit a year ago, when it released as part of Sony’s Playstation Plus free game initiative. Instilling a bit of that gotta’ catch’em all mechanic that RPG players can’t quite quit, Psyonix will be changing items so that they have a commonality rank.
