Karbonn rolls out new UI ‘Kandy’ with Quattro L50 smartphone
The onboard storage is 16GB that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
Update: Karbonn has officially launched the Quattro L50 smartphone at Rs 7,990. Considering the kind of hardware that’s on offer here, we think the Quattro L50 HD has the legs to go big in the sub-Rs 10,000 market segment. The new smartphone features a 5-inch display and runs on a proprietary Android-based Kandy UI.
With Quattro’s Kandy UI, users can also customise the entire look and feel of the device by choosing from a diverse range of themes, icons and colours to reflect their personal style and preference. It features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution IPS display and packs a quad-core SoC (unspecified) clocked at 1.3GHz, clubbed with 2GB RAM. As an example the Karbonn Quattro L50 price from Amazon.in at the time of writing is Rs. 7,949, and it’s in stock right now.
When it comes to camera, the handset comes with 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), Blue Glass filter, and LED flash. On the front, is the 5MP camera for selfies.
More Karbonn Quattro L50 specs include a 2600 mAh battery claimed to offer up to 4 hours of 4G LTE talk time, up to 8 hours 2G/3G talk time, or up to 200 hours on standby. As with other similar smartphones, the front-facing camera houses a 5-megapixel fixed focus sensor.
As for the connectivity, the Karbonn Quattro L50 HD supports 4G LTE networks (Indian bands supported), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi (dual band), GPS, and Micro-USB.
Apart from being present in some unique colors, it measures 141x71x8.8mm in dimension and weighs 134grams.
With new Karbonn “Quattro”, Indian handset manufacturer is all set to expand their smart phone valise. It will be available in the colours Coffee, Blue, and Grey colour.
