Official Logo Revealed For Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman will hit theaters on June 23, 2017.
The move comes ahead of the premiere of “DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League”, a special airing tonight on The CW.
The first footage is from Batman vs Superman.
As exclusively revealed by The Hollywood Reporter, Danish actress Connie Nielsen has landed the role of Hippolyta, queen of the Amazons and mother of Wonder Woman. He’s being described as a puppeteer and this will be a modern day spin on the villain. It showed our first look at the Wonder Woman movie starring Gal Gadot.
Actor Chris Pine is also on board as Wonder Woman’s love interest, Captain Steve Trevor. And because no Super Hero could make his or her mark without a truly formidable foe, the special also provides glimpses of DC’s most famous Super Villains. In that movie, she will meet up with Batman and Superman as she warns them about more dangers out there in the universe.
Everyone from Joss Whedon to George Miller have tried to get Wonder Woman in a movie in some form over the years, but it’s now down to Patty Jenkins as she places the Amazonian Warrior in a World War I setting.
In addition to the new Facebook page, official Wonder Woman Twitter and Instagram profiles have cropped up.
