It’s a Girl for Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard- The Couple Welcome Their Second Child

Christmas celebrations began early for Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard as they welcomed their second daughter together.

Bell broke the news on Twitter saying “The estrogen has now hit critical mass! Good luck, @daxshepard1. And welcome to the world DELTA BELL SHEPARD :),” along with a photo of a mama monkey’s hand holding the tiny fingers of a baby monkey. The couple’s family is picture perfect as big sister Lincoln is joined by Delta in the family fold.

The proud daddy tweeted “Delta Bell Shepard is here, She doesn’t look like either @IMKristenBell or me, but we’re gonna keep her anyway. #christmascameearly.” The couple did not reveal the gender of the baby throughout the pregnancy but Shepard gave inkling that they could have more kids in the future. Shepard joked that “”We’re building a circus” on a show and said “”Eventually, we want to get in a band and tour the country.”

The Veronica Mars star shared her experiences as parent and was amazed at what a good job she did at handling her first born. She mentioned that they have tons of resources like hospitals, the Internet, 911 so they didn’t freak out on having their first child and joked that they even took their baby for CPR class and so have nothing to fear.

The couple revealed that they decided to be “second-child parents” instead of unleashing their nervous energy on their first child by adopting pets first to vent their “nervous energy” before deciding to have a baby. The little angel has come at the right time for Shepard as he recently finished filming the final scenes for his show Parenthood on NBC and can bond with the little bundle of joy. Meanwhile, new momma Bell will be lending her voice for a Disney project, Frozen Fever, which her two daughters will definitely enjoy in the future.
