Former Deadliest Catch Producer Joe McMahon Shot Dead at Age 25
So sad. Joe McMahon, who used to produce the hit Discovery Channel reality series Deadliest Catch was killed in a fatal shooting outside his Pasadena, CA home.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 3600 block of Yorkshire Road around 2:20 a.m., Friday morning, after a call was made saying shots were fired.
A former producer from the Deadliest Catch has been shot dead in his California neighborhood. McMahon’s family members said he heard a noise outside and went to investigate it just before he was shot. Upon arriving, they found McMahon in the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Other witnesses said they heard the sound of gun shots and a auto speeding away from the incident.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators said McMahon left his house shortly before the shooting. News. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and to all that knew and worked with him”. Authorities say the man’s body was found just one driveway from his home.
McMahon worked on nine episodes of the Deadliest Catch in 2013 as part of the production team Original Productions, according to IMDB.
At this time police do not have any leads on a possible suspect or motive.
Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department said the victim was a 25-year-old man who lived near the scene of the shooting.
